first drain the pool, then use a tool, (we used a wet tile saw, but a chipper hammer, grinder, small jackhammer or just a hammer and chisel should do) to cut into the area of the rust source (top of the streak). You need to find the rebar tip or usually it is a piece of wire used to tie rebar together. Find this metal and either grind it out of the plaster/gunite or chip it completely out. Then just patch it back up and refill the pool.

Straightening an aluminum alloy wheel is NOT recommended. Aluminum wheels are both lightweight and strong and are capable of carrying the vehicle adequately... But DON'T try to straighten them. You can repair most aluminum sheet metal and some extrusions. It is recommended to use heat between 300 and 450 degrees Fahrenheit as aluminum tends to crack when straightened cold. If you heat the aluminum over 575 degrees Fahrenheit you could damage the aluminum alloy properties beyond repair. Measuring bare aluminum with a non-contact thermometer is not accurate because of its shiny surface. Spray a thin coat of gray or black primer on the area to be measured. With aluminum castings and aluminum wheels you can only repair cosmetic scratches. If they are bent or cracked, you should always consider replacement. If you try to straighten a bent aluminum wheel it can have cracks you can't necessarily see and could break out causing a blowout and possibly kill. If this wheel belongs to someone else, you need to realize that no auto maker recommends repairing bent aluminum wheels. I strongly suggest you get another wheel.
