if this is an s-10 blazer with the 4.3 liter vortec a very common coolant leak is failure of the intake gaskets leaking. When i was a machanic I've don't 2 to 3 of these a week on the blazer's. They finally redesined the gaskets, the old ones were rubber and plastic, the plastic would crack and leak, the new design is metal and rubber.Make sure when ordering them that you ask for the new design, alot of the parts stores still try to weed out the old style gaskets.
Hi Melissa, That is a very open question. Is the leak in the rad core, the side tanks, the hoses, the heater hoses, at connections, etc,
There is a temporary fix that i don't highly recommend but will work for small leaks. called rad stop leak you can get it at most auto stores. You are welcome to email me for further instructions once you pinpoint where the leak is. Marz
They also now make a bars stop leak that is made for head gaskets, head, intake manifold leaks that also seals smaller leaks, cost 29.99 at meijers works really good
Head gasket or cracked head. Mo
Good chance you have a leak in the heater core.
You have a small "EVAP" leak. Start with replacing the fuel cap.
You have a leak. You need to find and repair the leak. You have a leak. You need to find and repair the leak.
Need to know the location of the vacuum leak in order to answer this.
OK, find the leak and repair it.
A small radiator leak can cause antifreeze to leak on your 1998 Chevy Lumina when there are not any spots on the ground. A pinhole in a hose can also cause this.
It would depend on where the leak is coming from. Give us more info.
An antifreeze leak.An antifreeze leak.
Either a heater hose or a leak at the intake manifold
No vehicle actually burns antifreeze. If the antifreeze level in your Saturn seems to be going down, it's because of a leak.Possible antifreeze leak locations are:Coolant hoses.Radiator cap.Water pump.Heater core.Head gasket.Cracked head or block.Find out where the leak is occurring and repair it.
no get rid of it they usually leak
AnswerCheck the water pump. If the water pump bearing is worn out there will be a streak of antifreeze leaking from the bottom of the input shaft.Another prime area for coolant leaks is the intake manifold gaskets. The original gaskets fail at the front corners where the intake manifold meets the heads.
It is probably the oil cooler lines.
That depends on where the oil leak is, is it in the motor self or is one of the seals leaking?
if you smell it inside, it's the heater core it has a leak.
If coolant is leaking inside your cabin, you have a leak in the heater core. The only repair is to replace the heater core. Most auto parts stores sell them.
Check for vacuum leak
Could be several reasons, need to know aprox where it is leaking from.
I have a leak on my drive shaft left front 2000 cheve Blazer I would like to replace the whole unit
Check the heater core your water could be antifreeze leaking from it. Either broken connection where hoses connect or bad core itself located inside dash.
when i turn my truck off water leaks from the bottom all the time
small evap leak, check the fuel cap, if it is not loose, replace it.
Upper intake manifold plenum leak/crack most likely. If its blowing out coolant then you probably have a bad head gasket.
