The best option is probably to replace the entire starter.
Do you want to REPAIR? Or REPLACE? Starters can be rebuilt with new parts............ Is it the starter or the starter solenoid? Before you tear apart a starter, I would make sure IT is the problem.........
Are you referring to the battery wire that goes to the starter? If so replace the wire. By disconnecting it and follow wire to the starter and replace. Reconnect battery and your done.
You should never do repair work on a vehicle if you are not trained to do so. Find a reputable repairman to replace your infinity's starter.

It is best to contact a local mechanic when replacing a starter on a vehicle. If not them find a repair manual for the vehicle and be very careful.
Make sure the relay is supplying the 12 volts to the starter - if so remove the starter and go get a rebuilt on to replace it or learn how to repair it yourself.
