To remove the door locks on a 1991 S10, the door panel has to be removed. There are bolts inside that hold the lock mechanism in place.

This can be done, though some modifications may be needed. If you need to replace your core support (rad support) as well, order a core support for a 91 S10 blazer. This will help do away with the mounting issues. I did this to a 1985 S10 blazer and the grill fit fine with the factory core support, but not all of the mounting locations matched.

The best way would be to replace the damaged panel.

I've got a 91 s10 truck and I'm trying to get the panes replaced...I've tried to take them off according to the manual but, the plastic pins holding them to the metal are so old that they are breaking.
