How do you replace a brake light on a 2000 Saturn SL2?

Open the trunk. On the side of the lamp housing facing the trunk there are two 6pt screws. Remove these two screws and you will be able to grab hold of the lamp housing (the entire tail light assembly) and slide it out towards the rear of the car. Now you can access the bulbs from the rear of the lamp housing.

Just received letter for recall to replace entire tail light assembly. Check with dealer to see if your car is covered.
