I have a '97 RAV4: I bought a repair manual at Shuck's but it wasn't much help. 1) Turn the locking plastic ring on the back of the assembly 1/8 turn clockwise (from the front of the lamp.) 2) Take off (pull out) the rubber grommet. 3) Disconnect the plug on the back of the light. 4) There is a swinging springy wire inside. Push on the edge opposite the hinge (you'll know it when you feel it) and lift up to unlatch. It will swing open and you can pull the light bulb out. 5) The replacement bulb should have tabs on 3 sides. Middle tab up. 6) Insert bulb and close wire gate. Pull up slightly while closing, press down to latch. 7) Reassemble assembley.
The Aygo uses a H4 type of bulb
I'm trying to find the answer for that on a 1997 Toyota Camry.
You cant just change the bulb, you have to change the whole headlamp.
