How do you replace a voltage regulator on a 96 Saturn SL2?
Replace the alternator. Utilize a Hane's Manual.
The cause is the voltage regulator within the alternator (working normal). When the voltage higher it is charging the battery like after you start your car or have the headlights and wipers on. The voltage regulator keeps your battery charged up. In order to charge the battery, voltage must be higher than battery voltage.
Where is the voltage regulator located on a 1995 Saturn dohc the starter battery and alternator all went at the same time you have replaced all 3 but it is still losing power any help please?
The voltage regulator for a 1995 Saturn SL2 is in the alternator. Check your charging voltage after the engine is started and has run a few minutes. Should be better than 14 to 15 volts at the battery terminals. Make sure the battery terminals are clean and tight.
