How do you replace an alternator belt on a 1993 Plymouth Grand Voyager?

Take off the alternator first. You should disconnect the negative (black) lead from the battery, then there will be a black plug that goes to the alternator - disconnect that. There will be bolts holding the alternator onto its housing, undo those. Once you have the alternator free, you should be able to dip it so the belt slides off. Watch how the belt goes around the rest of the gears (power steering pump, engine, etc.) and remember that you'll have to do the same looping with a new belt. Might want to take a picture with a digital camera to help, or draw a DETAILED picture so you can get it back together right.

Remove the wiring harness from your 1992 Plymouth Grand Voyager alternator. Remove the alternator belt. Remove the alternator retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install your new alternator.
