This is not an easy job as there is very little access to any of the mounting bolts and once the alternator is unbolted it's even harder to get it out of the engine bay
If you have a Haynes manual, ignore it. It simlifies the job beyond belief.
Unless you are both a competant DIY mechanic AND very patient it's not worth considering doing this job yourself, if you can afford it let a garage do it for you.
Under the ash tray
Remove the ash tray from the centre console, just behind there!
Yes it will, 1.5 dci was mounted in Clio II ph2, and as pH 2 was facelifting without any major changes in construction it should fit without any problems (using parts from pH 2 clio). It may be possible to even fit 1.9 dci engines as non-turbo 1.9 was mounted in clio before 1.5dci was introduced.
what oil do i use for my Renault scenic 04 1.9 dci
I have a 1.5 dci 2001 and its on the side of the gearbox at the front of the car (passenger's side). It's a plustic plug which is easier to see from the bottom of the car.
could someone give me a rough idea on how much it will cost to replace a head gasket on a renault grand espace 2.2 dci, thats cost and fitting? thanks
No, the timing belt is under a cover and you'll probably never see it unless you remove a lot of peripheral covers and other hardware. The alternator is run by a serpentine belt.
how do you remove a turbo from a 2005 Renault megane 1.9 dci
Baghdad, Iraq
Yes it does
If you can't find it under the nearside scuttle, it probably doesn't have one. Not all Clio's have a pollen filter.
where is the horn relay switch located on renault kangoo van 1.5 dci
