First off the oil filter is located underneath the exhaust manifold (that faces the front of the car) It's a bit hidden underneath the heat shield of the manifold and is closer to the passenger side of the vehicle.

It's a twist on type filter and so you turn counter clockwise to loosen it, and clockwise to tighten it.

If you can't get it off by hand, you'll need a socket type filter wrench to help get it off.
