remove valve covers and high pressure oil rails(T-30 torx) remove inj with t-40 or t-45 torx lube o-rings and torque injectors 24ftlbs t-40 or 26ftlbs t-45 if you are not carfull a cut o-ring or inproper torque will cause o-rings to burn from combustion gases and dump fuel into cylinder and hydrolock engine which could cause engine dammage. This does require some special tools that most people do not normally have and a few tricks on how to get things loose along with about 3hours pluse per side for normal person. Pain in A##.

To replace injectors on a 1999 Ranger 3.0, first eliminate the fuel pressure. Then remove the rails as well as the fuel lines. Finally, remove the o-rings and replace injectors with new.?æ
