Remove the transmission oil pan and valve body.
Drain the water from the radiator. Remove the radiator hoses. Remove the radiator stabilizer arm. Remove the radiator retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new radiator.

We had the same problem with our LHS. We first replaced the thermostate and it still happened. So we keep looking and the lower radiator hose was colapsing. You might check the hoses after you replace the thermostate. Hope this helps.
The thermostat on a '99 LHS is on the lower left side (driver side) of the engine block to the left of the oil filter. It is best viewed from under the vehicle. Just trace the lower radiator hose to the engine and that is the housing it's located in.
