How do you replace a starter in a 1997 F-350 Turbo Pickup?
There is not an adjustment on a starter except the engagement to the flywheel. That is done with the shims supplied.

I have a Camero Strada 1990 - 350 chev soft clutch and there is no way the starter can be replaced wijhtout lifting the motor. Not all that hard though if you have a chain block and something strong enough to hold it all up. Paul B - Medowie.
The starter should be located at the rear of the engine next to the flywheel on the passenger side. ~ D
If your talking about the Chevrolet K5 Blazer made from 1969-1994, the most powerful engine was the 350 ci Small-Block V8 engine that puts out 255 hp and was available from 1969-1970. If your talking about the Chevrolet S-10 Blazer and the Chevrolet Blazer made from 1983-2005, the most powerful engine is the 4.3L Vortec 4300 L35 CPFI V6 engine that puts out 200 hp and was available from 1992-1994.
