On your valve cover you will see a white short plastic tube with vaccum lines attached. Pull out the hose and pull the pCV valve right out of the valve cover .
go to the local auto shop and tell them you ned your pcv valve replaced

Pull upward on the hose that the PCV valve is in. The PCV valve will pull out of the hose. The PCV valve is located in the valve cover.

First off PVC is a pipe... the correct term would be PCV. Your PCV valve should be on the driver side valve cover. All you have to do is pop it off carefully & replace it with the new valve. Just bought one for a 1987 Dakota 3.9V6 was only like $15.00.
