The proceedure is really quite simple but time consuming. I learned this by doing it on my 1990 MPV doors. First remove the Phillips head screw in the door opening latch. Then carefully pop the fasteners that holds the interior door covering from the metal door frame, this is accomplished by using a thin long flat screw driver. The fasteners will pop loose creating a space between the interior cover and the door frame. There are several on the left and right side as well as the bottom. When all fasteners are popped, lift the interior straight up and out. I found it easiest with the window glass down. The mechanism that holds the door opener will hang loose, you should easily remove it's fastening and move the interior door off and set it aside as you access the speaker. There is a plastic cover over the area you need to get to to remove the speaker I cut mine away and discarded. If you have any mechanical ability you should easily replace the 6" oval speaker. I suggest you take the speaker to the audio shop you get your replacement from as the OE speaker has a unique fitting and the replacement must be the same fit. I found mine at Walmart.
