How do you replace the fuel filter located on a 1994 Ford Probe?
Check the left front fender apron it's stuck between the engine and inner fender apron and it's tough to undo the bottom hose . Hey Robin==It is in the fuel line. You can get them very cheap from the local parts store. GoodluckJoe

The fuel filter is located in the engine compartment between the fuel tank and the fuel rail. It's on the underside of the car, near the CV axle. You'll have to raise the car to replace it. There's a plastic retaining clip on the upper fuel filter hose that needs to be removed before you can slip the hose off the filter.
The fuel filter is non-replaceable, and integrated with the fuel pump module which is inside the fuel tank. To replace the fuel filter, one must replace the entire fuel pump module, which requires either the removal of the fuel tank, or the removal of the truck box. Six of one, a half dozen of the other, as far as which method is easier.
