I had the opportunity to do this 5 days before 9/11 occurred. It's quite an involved job. I have a friend who works at a Dodge dealer, and we did it there.
First, remove the windshield wiper assembly. The whole black plastic thing has to come off. From there, start at the top and work your way down. The rear exhaust manifold was a bear.
Be sure to have the head gasket kit available for re assembly. You might as well do the serpentine belt and idler pulley while you're this deep into it. The oil and coolant should be changed, too.
With my friend's $25K in tools available, it took us about four hours for the tear down, and about six hours to put it back together. The Dodge dealer has lots of cool tools to make it go faster.
Good Luck.
