I haven't tried, but, I have the repair manual and it says that you first have to remove the bumper. Then disconnect the connectors and remove the five bolts holding the headlight in place. Install in reverse order.

I am actually doing a search to see if someone has an easier method.

It does look like you can just change a bulb (and not the entire headlight). The manual does not give that as an option. It looks like you can get to it from the back of the assembly.

The headlight bulb does come off without you taking the whole thing out.It is a pain sometimes to get it off but just work with it, and if I remember right u have to take out radiator reseivor

I managed to open the passenger side (inner side) bulb i.e High Beam. It was possible after taking the battery out. I am struggling to change the passenger side (outer bulb) i.e Low Beam (Headlight) but the air inlet hose pipe is in the way, dont know how to get it out of the way.

The 2002 Honda accord headlight changing diagram can be obtained from most Honda dealerships. The diagram can also be obtained from the auto-parts store where you bought the new headlight.
