∙ 9y agoRemove the water supply hoses from your 1992 Chevy S 10 pickup truck heater core. Remove the heater core retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install your new heater core.

Sometimes switches wear out, which could be the reason the switch in your 1992 Chevy truck is not working. There could also be a problem with the wiring. You may also want to check the fuse for the blower to see if it's bad.

Heater core is located inside the H/AC "suitcase". It can be a chore, but you're best bet is to remove the 'suitcase' and remove the heater core once the suitcase is on the ground.
