I have a 1992 Chevy lumina that blew the heater core. This job I rate as moderate/slightly easy to do. The heater core is located under the dash right below/behind the ashtray. There is a plastic cover there that has about 8 torx screws in it. Remove that cover and again another cover below that with some torx there. The heater core is behind the second cover. MAKE SURE your car is cool or the core can and will burn you badly! (bad experience!) I don't have illustrations to do this, and I'm sorry if my explanation sucks, but its the best I can do. As far as the coolant temp goes, I got myself an add-on temp gauge and wired it up. You can put the temp sensor that comes with the kit in the drivers side coolant bleeder's place (Thermostat Housing). Just remove the bleeder, not the small part, the whole thing, and thread in the sensor.
