The 1992 Plymouth Cold ignition switch is held in place by a retaining ring. Remove the retaining ring at the top of the ignition switch. Pull the ignition switch out. Remove the wiring harness from the ignition switch. Reverse the process to install the new ignition switch.
Check the ignition coil or the "pick up" located inside the distributor

The starter on the 1993 Plymouth Colt is mounted on the back side of the engine (by the firewall), and below the intake manifold.

where is a ignitionmodule in a dodge colt a 1993
I need a headlight assembly for 87 Plymouth colt e. drivers side
I changed the whole ignition in a 93 colt. I got the replacement from a lancer! The ignition wraps round the steering column and is bolted with sheer away bolts. The bolts are designed to break when originaly tightend (Antitheft). you will have to use a hacksaw blade to cut slits in the top of the bolts that are on the suspect ignition. when slits are deep enough, use a flathead screwdriver to remove them. You will have to get new bolts from your Mitsubishi dealer. when its off the ignition switch is held by a Philips screw, remove and continue with putting the replacement ignition on! hope it helps!!
Try on the Injection Rail
I actually found one on ebay.
Are you joking? The correct answer is 1 cooler of beer.
Threads are stripped or bearing is disintegrating.
Its on the passenger side right behind the front bumper.
The fuel pump is in the top of the gas tank unfortunatly.

Dodge does not use inertia switches.
In this job, you have to go under the car. I bought a book on 1989 Plymouth Colt E in 2005, but I don't think the sell them now. Anyway, 1.Get under the car were the gear box is. There you will find Screws. Un screw them and take that off. (they may be rusty) And there you go my friend!
Perhaps bad ignition coil.
There is a brake light switch or stoplight switch that may be bad on the brake pedal up top.
No, it does not have an inertia switch.
MPI relay is behind the radio.
most likely it will be on the drivers side right up against the fire wall
