First, check to see of there is a cap on the handle under which there is a bolt that holds the handle to the shaft inside the door. If there is a cap, pop it off and see if there is a bolt to loosen underneath. It is probably a hex head or Allen head. IF NOT, then go to your local store or aut parts dealer and get the special tool that slides behind the handle to release the retainer clip. The tool should be less than $6.00. The new handle will probably have new clips, but keep the old ones just in case.
Additional:I took off my entire door panel using only a Phillips screwdriver. Here are the steps I took to replace the latch on the drivers side door of my 1999 Sienna (USA model).Step 1. Remove the Phillips screw holding the door latch flange in place.Step 2. Slide the flange back away from the hinges. I used my thumbs and pushed in a direction parallel to the window and away from the hinges. There is a small L-shaped piece that holds it snugly without the necessity of another exposed screw.Step 3. Locate and remove the plastic cap between the door hinge and the handle area, about 6 inches below the top of the panel itself. Remove the Phillips screw.Step 4. Remove the armrest by using your fingers to reach into the recessed area of the armrest used to normally close the door and use a firm pressure lift up and toward your body. If you hear foam tearing, your fingers are not low enough toward the base. There are two spring clips on the left and right side of the recessed area that hold the armrest on.Step 5. With the armrest removed, locate and remove the two Phillips screws.Step 6. Starting at the bottom of the panel and using your fingers, pry away the panel from the door frame. You will see the pressure clips that hold the panel in place. Work around the edge, bottom to top and then lift a bit to get the panel over the top edge of the frame. You can remove the two electric connectors by pinching the retaining clip then pulling out. The panel can be removed completely from the door at this point.Step 7. Remove the screw holding the broken lever assembly in place. Take time to look at the placement of the rods and how they are connected. Remove the rods and place into the new assembly.Reverse the steps to reassemble. I did test my efforts by using the electric lock and opening and closing the door before completely reassembling the panel -- just to make sure nothing was in a bind.

hi please show how do i replace the Toyota seinna 2000 front handle door thanks Andy
Upon further inspection, the rear door handle assembly on the 2002 Toyota Sienna IS the same as that shown on the Find One Find All website, so never mind.
Replace the handle. You will need to remove the door panel to replace the handle. If you can't do this yourself take it to the dealer. They should charge you about 1.0 to 2.0 hours labor to do this, plus the part.
The same question for a 99 Sienna was answered on this site by referencing www.findonefindall.com/toyota-sienna/ The price quoted for the handle way $65.
go to the website autorepair.about.com and they have the step-by-step instructions. good luck!

= How do you replace the driver's side Inside door handle on a 2004 Toyota Camry? =
you never gave me the answer.....
Need to know if it is an inside or outside door handle.
This is a growing problem with many Sienna models, the only way to fix it, is to replace it, I would suggest you contact Toyota Corp. (find the number in your owners manual) with your defect, as I have placed a complaint of this defect with them, they responded by saying "the more complaints they receive the better the chances are they will recall this defect".
I have a 2000 Toyota camery that the drivers door handle on the outside broke - not an easy job, the door must be taken a part, and there are screws you don't see that must be taken out so the handle come out. Do yourself a favor, take it to a mechanic who knows Toyota cars, or you will end up with more problems then just a handle.
anyone has pictures out there for how to replace door handles for 92 Toyota corolla?
You can replace the inside drivers door handle by removing the door panel. With the door panel removed the door handle mechanism will be visible. Remove the linkage from the door handle. Remove the door handle retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new door handle.

There's an excellent discussion of this problem at this thread: http://www.automotivehelper.com/topic203428.htm The quick answer is that you remove the inside handle and strap, pull off the vinyl cover and replace the handle. A new handle will cost you ~$70 at a Toyota dealer, but it's still much cheaper than paying that same dealer ~$400 to do it for you.
http://www.findonefindall.com/toyota-sienna/siennareardoor.htm Works like a charm. I spent $497.00 getting my 1999 Sienna handle fixed at the dealer, less than 2 yrs later it broke again. This fix took less than 30 mins and cost pennies.
