remove valve covers, remove rocker arms,then pull up push rods.keep the rods in order, dont mix them up. i put them through a box or something to keep them ok!! lifters are on bottom of push rods. if you do not have a push rod tool! use a good magnet to get them out!!they ride against cam..the magnet should pull them out of the rod holes in engine.
