I think you may be talking about the cabin air filter it cleans the air entering the car. If you look just below the windshield wiper when it's in the park position, you should see two screws remove the screws the screws hold the cover that hides the filter in place. (on the cover it should say remove cover to change filter..)once you remove the screws, carefully pry the cover up and you'll see the filter. The filter is a tight fit but you should be able to get it out pretty easily revellll@Yahoo
Replace
It should be under the rear passenger door. It will be a big round cylinder with one fuel line going in from the rear of the car and one going out to the front of the car.
Its inside the passenger side front fender. Remove the plastic cover. Replace as you would any other Lincoln filter.
fuel filter is located under the rear passenger side, on the inside of the frame around the wheel.
The fuel filter is located in front of the rear passenger tire beside the gas tank. Becarefull with taking it off. The filter it self is about 4" round and 5" long.
Remove the passenger side wheel well liner and it's to your left, remove lines and replace.
The fuel filter is located just in front of the passenger side tire and is easily accessible. It is a large silver canister about 3 inches in diameter.
I have a 93 Lincoln Continental and my Chilton Repair manual told me that mine was on the passenger side under the car and attached to the frame. When I looked for mine it was jusr about right under the passenger side rear door. I believe that yours should be close to this location. I hope I helped.
