How do you replace the passenger side brake light on a 2001 Saturn SL2?

all u have to do is open the trunk and there are 2 6pt screws on the taillight housing on the left side and u just unscrew those 2 screws and pull the entire housing toward you enabling u to access the bulb

There was a manufacturing problem with the original equipment brake light sockets which allowed many to fail prematurely. Saturn attempted to replace all of the brake light assemblies through a recall campaign. If your brake light assembly has not already been replaced, contact your local Saturn dealer.

To replace the brake light switch on a 1995 Tahoe, first disconnect the battery and push the switch up at the ends towards the firewall. Slide the switch towards the passenger side. This will release the brake light switch from the actuator point.

There is a campaign on the brake bulbs for 2000-2003......If it hasn't been done you should get it done. The bulbs and sockets will be replaced.

To replace the brake light on a 2000 Ford Explorer, remove the screws holding the brake light in place. Gently, but firmly, pull the brake light out of the vehicle and replace with a new one.
