Since the block is part of the structure of the tractor, the easiest way to go about this would be to remove the hood, radiator, front sheet metal, and grill. Before removing the block from the tractor, I would remove the manifolds, accessories on the engine, and the head. Next, using two head bolts and eyelets on these bolts (most engines have them on the head bolts to begin with in the proper places to balance the weight, so pay attention as you remove the head) attach a hoist and chain to the engine block. Also, use a floor jack or splitting stands on the torque tube of the tractor. Chalk the back wheels if you haven't done so now to prevent any risk of rolling. Now, using both the hoist and the floor jack, just take the weight off of the front axle. Unhook the hydrauilic lines to the front end and with the weight off the wheels, manually push the wheels all the way from lock to lock and catch the fluid, if you haven't done so already when you removed the radiator and everything else. You will need to pull the front axle by pulling both the front and rear pin (unbolt a securing bolts on the head of each pin). Once that is done, you will have a lot easier time having a helper to roll it forward and keep the front end straight. Next remove the front bolster with a cherry picker or another hoist. Next, check to make sure you have all lines and cables unhooked from the motor (don't forget the fuel lines, the electrical connections). Now you will want to unbolt the main bolts that hold the engine to the torque tube. It's a lot easier to get to the top ones with the auxiliary hydraulic pump removed, if your tractor has the engine mounted, cam driven hydraulic pump. Once this is done, you need to just slowly pull the engine away and keep checking for any lines that may still be hooked up.
the thermostat is in the front of the block where the bottom rad hose connects.
Under the dashboard on the drivers side, in the fuse block. Just pull it and replace it.
