should be able to get to them with an extension about 2 feet long with a wobbly on it.

On a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe, the starter is located on the top of the engine just to the right of the heat protector. To replace it, you have to remove the negative cable on the battery, and then remove the starter cables. Then remove the 2 bolts that hold the starter in place.

i am trying to replace the belt tensioner on my 1997 ls400 , i got everything loose but there is a plastic seal right in front of it , it is holding the tensioner and there is where i got stuck , can someone tell me how to get the tensioner out without removing the plastic seal . thanks

thanks how many holding blots and where bad bendix (starter drive) if the spring in the starter bendix is weak or broken it will not engage the flywheel; but the starter will turn normally. bad thing is ,you have to pull the starter..good luck..

My 2004 kia optima timing belt teeth fell apart at 93k miles. I would replace it at 80K. System: while your driving the car, the car would turn off while running. Don't try to turn it on to many times cause it can cause other problems. Get it tolled away. thanks
