Hold down the silver button on the side. Scroll through the far right wheel until you hear a click. Do the same for the middle and left wheels. Hope it helped!
(Worked for me)
Update: Use your thumb to hold down the silver button on the side. With your thumb, you can feel the button "fall" or "bump" into place as you turn the wheel to the correct digit. This usually works really well on the 3rd digit. This at least narrows it down to 100 possible combinations (rather than the original 1,000). Or, knowing the last digit may help jog your memory to remember the combination you set in the first place.
You have to be able to open it to reset it....first open the lock and turn the top half way..... after you have turned it hold the top down so that you hear it click and while pressing it down(don't have it in the locked position), change the combo. Once you have changed the combo you can put the top in the lock position and lock the lock. For a "Buffalo" lock you also have to know the combination and open the lock before you can change it. Open the lock, and find the recessed button on the side of the lock. Press that button in and while you are holding the button in, change the combination. Release the button and close the lock. The combination will now be the new number you've set it as. It's a little tricky to hold the recessed button in while you are changing the numbers, but it can be done.

You can purchase a padlock from all you local DIY stores. There are different ones avaliable. They come in different sizes ones are for outside mainly as they are weather proof and some are for inside for cupboards or suitcases. There are also ones that dont have a key they open and lock remembering a digit that you enter.
1 tenth of 20 is 2...you can remember that by thinking that a double digit number divided by 1 tenth is the double digit minus a zero.
