How do you reset the Airbag warning light on a 1995 Toyota Avalon?
The low tire pressure warning light, on a Lexus IS 250, can be reset by adjusting the tire air pressure. The recommended tire air pressure is 30 pounds per square inch.
There is no reset button because the warning light will go off on its own once you have the correct amount of air in all 4 tires. Once you put the right amount of air in the tires, it should reset automatically within a few miles of driving.
The air bag warning light is on because the air bag system has detected something is wrong. The light will remain on until the problem is fixed. Once the problem is fixed the light will reset itself.
When a dash warning light needs to be reset follow the same process of resetting an ECU. If there is no diagnostic tool on hand disconnect the battery for 5 seconds and the computer will reset all codes and lights.
Assuming that you are referring to the low air warning for the tires, it should reset itself after the correct tire pressure is returned to the low tire. If it does not reset then you may have a bad sensor in the wheel.
I had to put air in my spare to get the light to go out. Never found a reset button that some people say is underneath the steering wheel.
If sensor is good will reset itself if proper air pressure in a few miles
Fix the problem. It retests everytime you turn the key on.
