Contact the dealership. Most can obtain a unlock code for the factory radio.
Since it's a Chevy I'm assuming it's a Delco raido. Go to www.delcolockcodes.com and they'll be able to get you your specific unlock code.
That truck DON'T have a reset button. Chevy didn't use them on there trucks.

Chevrolet doesn't have a fuel reset switch. That's a Ford thing.

One can purchase a Chevy truck radio through a variety of sources. One source would be your local automotive parts store such as O'Reilly's Auto Parts. Or you can go to Amazon as well and look for one.
There is NO TYPE of kill switch on that truck what so ever.
humming noise is a bad ground to the radio. you may have a loose connection. connect a ground wire to frame of truck.
