That is actually a door switch problem instead of an alarm problem. Find the door that is not registering as closed and check out the little switch by the hinges, you might just need to spray it with some WD40.
Lights on. Door wasn't closed all the way which left inside lights on
why would the lights and the horn stay on all the time just started when the battery was changed
my friend changed the battery in his 05 outback and now all the dash lights are on and the car wont go into gear. what happened?
Lights are on in closed circuit. It means that is a current flowing when circuit is being closed.
Good idea to check the battery. Might need to be charged, or changed.
There is probably a problem with the ABS system
There is a possibility that your door is not closed properly. The hinges are prone to go bad, and your door will not close properly hence a battery drain by the interior lights. You could also have a bad battery
Take alook at the fuse panel and find out if there is a fuse for your day time running lights. Most vehicles have a fuse going to them.
If none of your lights work , it could be a battery cable connection or a dead battery
hot feed wire is rubbing causing the circuit to ground out
Your tail lights are on a separate circuit. Check the 15A fuse under the hood in the power distribution center, next to the battery.
Brake lights are on continuously while you are driving. Every time the brake pedal is depressed.
