My lock was preset to 0005 when I purchased it. Some are set to 0000 from what I have read. When you open the lock there are two red levers. Push those in while twisting them counterclockwise It's a little difficult, but the red levers should slide back and allow you to reset your lock. Push the levers back into place when finished.
