reset engine light on 2005 Chevy Colorado 3.5 engine
looking for help on the brake light ground wire location for 1999 gmc suburban 4x4
Is the brake fluid level LOW in the brake master cylinder in the engine compartment ?
Someone answer this please. I have an 03 sierra and don't know if I have a problem or if it's just time for maintenance.
you need a new brake pressure differential switch
By having the anti-lock brake system fixed. Resetting the light will do no good unless the system is repaired. It will just come back on. I suggest you have this repaired by a qualified tech. You still have standard braking even though the ABS is non-functional.
Check the operation and alignment of the brake light switch, located at the upper end of the brake pedal under the dash area
You do not reset it, it is a fault code. It is not a routine maintenance indicator. Fix the problem and the light will go out.
With a scan tool, after repairing the cause of the code.
It is on a bracket above the brake pedal. It reads off of the brake pedal.
bad brake light switch
You can not reset your oxygen sensors. You can only replace them. To reset the check engine light you will have to get that done by a repair shop with a computor. If replacing the sensors does not repair the problem then check for a vacuum leak.
