How do you reset your radio to put the code in for your 1997 eclipse?
It is on this web page just look for it. It should be the same as a 98 or 99

Its possible that maybe your radio has been replaced? So the radio code that you have, might not be the correct one for the radio. I would suggest pulling the radio out and getting the serial number off the radio, then just call a Mercedes dealer and they can get the correct radio code for you from the serial number.

Take you car-radio out. Get the serial # off the top of your radio. Call your Mitsubishi dealer, tell them you need a code, then give them your radios serial #. You should get a code too input. Should be a free-of-charge service. been told (haven't tryed) mess up 3 times - leave ignition on, radio on, engine not running for 45 minuted - should reset.

The code needed to reset the radio is the model number on top of the radio. The you must call a Honda dealer to get the code. the radio goes into "off" mode anytime 3 wrong security codes are entered. The dealer has to reset it although I just read a string that said if you leave the door open for an hour with the key in the on position, the radio will reset and you can enter the seciryt code.
