It depends on several factors, including file format, copy protection rights, and 360 model. As a general rule for the Arcade or later, if you can copy and play it on a computer running XP, it should work.
I know that you go to music library and then click on Rip CD but I don't have that option, instead of saying Rip CD it says Edit or Save Playlist so I cant rip it? The files are mp3 and I downloaded them from the internet they aren't from a shop so do I have to do something like finalize it when it rips, even though it said "finalizing" when I ripped them, pleaase help, thank youu!! :)
Firstly, you can only rip music off an audio CD, not a data CD, just insert audio cd, it should play automatically and then select rip. it will take time, if it takes to long your screwed
this is not possible at this time no sure it ever will be
Nope, only a xbox 360 hard drive
You have to burn it onto a disc on your computer then burn the music from the disc onto your Hard Drive.
yes, you can. you can copy music to the xbox 360
If you have any type of iPod you can plug it in to the USB port and download it onto the Xbox. You can put CDs in the disk drive and download those songs.

In order to play games for the original Xbox on the Xbox 360 you will need to have the hard drive. This is because the update is downloaded onto it.

No. You can buy a hard drive for a Xbox. You can play music from a thumb drive though.
