How do you say no to a boy asking you to dance?

Its really hard for a girl to say no since we feel like we don't wanna hurt the boy's feelings. But if you say yes, but just taking pity of him and he finds out, that'll be more heart breaking. You have to say no in a calm way explaining how you feel and don't be too harsh.....like maybe

"I'm really sorry and i know i might hurt you, but I'm not really comfortable/ready yet." or something like that, but remember not to be too harsh.

Don't just hide away from them, dance with your friends and he/she will come and dance with you. Don't walk away, they could turn out to be a great dancer. ANSWER

Just simply say,"No thank you" and if you just don't feel like dancing at the moment but may want to later with them say, "No thank you not right now but maybe later" and if you just don't like to dance or don't know how simply say, "Sorry I don't dance but thank you anyway". Above all always be polite.

In my opinion, the male should always ask the female to dance, not the other way around. However, that's just my opinion. But, to answer the question if you ask a boy to dance with you and he rejects you than I suggest you just move on as he's likely not worth your time. Don't sweat it, just move on! This is honestly the only thing you really can do! :)

if you don't want to dance with that person that asks you then just say in a polite way "Oh i'm sorry but I dances are really not something I like to do but I apreciate your concern" don't be rude just say in a nice voice you don't want to dance with them but if you did wanted to dance with that person don't be afraid to say yes its ok hope this helped :3
