send a letter I think you just say - I'm so sorry this has gotten out of hand and let's just agree to disagree and be friends again. If it's a fight where you really are in the wrong, agknowledge it and say "Sorry if I hurt you"

∙ 16y agoPreface any comment you make by letting your friend know how important he/she is to you and has been for x period of time.
Frame any comment you make in the context of YOUR FRIEND's FEELINGS and not your own. "You have good reason to feel betrayed by me... to feel disappointed by me... etc." "Tell me how you are feeling about our relationship" and then let them talk.
Do not be afraid to use the simple words "I was wrong" as a lead-in.

∙ 12y agoYou have to set them aside or go somewhere where just you can talk. Apologize to them for what you said and why you're sorry or they probably won't forgive you, you also have to explain to them that you didn't mean anything that you said. If they still don't forgive you then just accept it and tell them that it's fine and your still sorry for everything!

∙ 11y ago- Whether its young women or young men who get into a bad fight it takes the biggest person of the two to apologize and hopefully the other person will accept. It doesn't really matter if you are right or wrong, but it's about realizing that having a good friend is sort like a marriage where you have to work at it and you will not always agree with each other so you need to 'agree to disagree.' Friendships are hard to find so don't let one bad fight end it.
