If the stomach is bigger than usual, it's either she is pregnant, or you have to slow down on the carrots and apples. Place your hand on her stomach over where the womb is. If you wait long enough, (and she's pregnant,) You will feel the baby moving inside her. It's like when a human is pregnant.

Usually, you don't. If you are desperate to know, call in the vet! If not, wait a year and if the following symptoms occur, then call a vet in needed:

*Teets swelling up

*Stomach swelling up

*Sensitive stomach

And there are a few more symptoms you may need to resaearch. I'm no expert
