You can do filtration which will let the fine water go through leaving the dirty mud behind. You cold also evaporate the water and the mud will be left behind. Though i think that will turn the mud into sand.
by using filter
You can leave it for the mud to settle then decant the water, or use a very fine filter, though this would probably clog up quickly.
== ==Probably clean it using a filter and evaporate anything else! uncomfirmed.
mud would conduct heat better as water is a pretty good heat conductor
The simplest way to separate pebbles from mud is to use screen made from an appropriate sized mesh hardware cloth. Mount the screen material in a frame and wash the mud through the screen, leaving the pebbles in the screen.
It's very simple: soil + water = mud
by evaporation
water mud
at any mud or pond
U use distillation 2 separate mud from water. Cool!
It is possible to filter mud out of water.

NO a mud puddle is caused by water going in to the mud and just causeing a dirty colour
Muddy water is heterogeneous because the mud and water are separate, plus the mud is made up of different things.
Let the water evaporate.
The abioctic factors of a pond ecosystem are Water Rock and Mud these are important because you can not have a pond without water and there is always dirt on the ground so the dirt turns to mud and there is always rock in sand.
