How do you service the four-wheel drive on a 2001 Chevy Suburban?

I ran into this myself on my 2002 HD1500. Seems GM has tons of problems with their dash switches and grounds to the transfer case. Some are still under warranty because of factory defects. Check with you dealer on this.

Yes it will, As long as both trucks are either a 1/2 ton or a 3/4 ton, 4-wheel drive are just a 2-wheel drive.

hi my 2008 chevy suburban transfer case is blown and automaticly went from auto to low 4wheel drive any one know how to get it two 2 wheel drive the switch does nothing

chevy suburban is mounted on a truck frame so most rear ends from any truck or tahoe which is also a truck will work if it is a late model 6 lug.

The C models are 2 wheel drive, the K models are 4 wheel drive.

If it is a 2-wheel drive then it has 2 axels in the rear and the 4-wheel drive has 4 axels. in the rear and 2 in the front.
