I cannot guaranty that these instructions are perfect because I have the original wildfire but it should be similar:
1. Go to the settings menu (found on the slide up apps menu or by pressing the menu button at the bottom of the screen and clicking "settings").
2. Select the option labeled "sound".
3. An incoming text will appear on the notification bar so you will select the option labeled "notification sound".
4. Select your desired sound.
If you find the "notification sound" option is greyed out and you cannot select it, make sure your sound profile setting is not set to "silent" or "vibrate".
