Hold the adjust button then click the mode button until you see the (wrong) time. Then to change the numbers just keep clicking the split.reset button. You can also change the date and day by doing one at a time. To set the time, date, or day of the week press start.stop.

Press the LAP/RESET button until the hour flashes.
Press the ST./STOP button to change the hour.
Press the LAP/RESET button again to select the minutes.
Press the ST./STOP button to change the minutes.
Press MODE again when you're finished setting the time.
