First check and see if your community has a set "Yard Sale" day, or find out if any of your neighbors are having one, this can draw in more people. Put an add in the newspaper and public announcements. Then gather all your stuff and sell it well first of all, it has to be yard sale season, so I would wait until its the right kind of weather to start a yard sale. Then, you should make colorful, bright, outstanding, and definitely eye catching fliers to go on posts on the street or bulletin boards. Be sure to include your address, time, date, and anything else that might make you want to go see. After posting them nearby your house (otherwise people wont want to drive all the way across town), make sure everythings organized. Set up tables, and put your things in categories such as girls clothes, dolls, tools, furniture, books, etc. And that's it! Wait for your customers to arrive, and greet them with a smile. I personally don't like it when I walk up to a yard sale and the owner's sitting in a chair smoking. Hopefully you know better. Best of luck with your sale!
