How do you slow the idle speed on a 1992 Acura Integra?

As you face the opening to the throttle body air intake, look to the left and you'll see a slotted brass adjustment screw (may be covered up by sealant). Turn clockwise to decrease idle speed. -- Ian

warm the car up to operating temp loosen the distributor hold down bolts just enough so you can move the distributor (3 bolts) connect a inductive timing light pickup on #1 cylinder (one closest to the timing belt) jump the terminals at the ignition timing connector under the passenger floor mat a light gray connector with green/white and brown wires set the timing light to 16 degrees and see where the marks line up to the pointer there are 2 marks on the crankshaft pulley a single yellow and 3 (2 yellow with a red in the middle) the pointer is a little bump sticking out from the timing belt cover the pointer should be on the red mark at 16 degrees =/- 2 degrees at 750 rpm =/- 50 rpm to advance the timing turn the distributor counterclockwise to retard turn clockwise or was it the other way around? well you will know by sound your advancing it if the idle speeds up and retarding it if it slows down and starts idling badly and if you don't have a timing light you can also do it by the sound and feel of the engine just adjust the distributor until you get it where you like but if you do it like that your timing is almost surely going to be off
