You have to use "ellos" in the same grammatical order that when you use "they" in English.
ex: ellos son agradables (they are nice)
ex ellos estaban jugando (they were playing)
Nosotros hablamos con el hombre (we talk to the man)
(Nosotros) Estamos hablando con el hombre (we are talking to the man)
Ella no puede manejar, esta muy miedosa
No, pero (yo) miro ellos en la televisión.

I = yo you = tú he = él she = ella we = nosotros, nosotras (depending on feminine and masculine) they = ellos, ellas (when to use which --> if you have 100 girls in a room, it would be ellas, then one guy walks in, it automatically changes to ellos. it doesn't matter how many girls there are! if one guy walks in, its ellos!!! :)
