Opening a fiberglass pool really is not any different from any other pool. If the water is clear brush the walls, vacuum the pool and then shock it with 1 pound of 65% available chlorine calcium hypochlorite per 10,000 gallons of pool water mix the shock in a 5 gallon plastic bucket and then pour the liquid into the pool do not let the granules get into the pool they can bleach the surface of the pool. Then take a water sample to your favorite swimming pool store so that they can balance the pool water for you. I would also recommend the addition of a stain and scale inhibitor to protect against cobolting.
