How do you sync Guitar Hero?
You need to go to the main menu and go to Options>Calibrate and it will tell you what to do (:
Out of all the Wireless Guitars, there is only one Official one that works with GH3. It came with GH3, and the included instructions should tell you about this. This one is sold with a PlayStation2 port dongle. Press the button on the dongle and then press the sync button on the Guitar. They should be linked. For two players, you must sync one guitar before doing the next.
this answer is for xbox 360 turn your xbox 360 on hold down the sync button on your xbox 360 hold down th sync button of the guitar AT THE SAME TIME AS HOLDING DOWN THE SYNC BUTTON ON YOUR XBOX 360 when both the lights on your xbox 360 and your guitar are flashing, then release BOTH buttons. the guitar and console should now be synced up with each other. hope this helps ;P
