Why not? Good car for the money. Personally, I prefer the Outback. Gas mileage is the same, you get more room, and the things that are different tend to be a little nicer in the Outback. Also, you can tuck a 10' 1x6 lumber inside the Outback that will not fit in the Forester. Of course when they get to this age, condition becomes more important than model. I'd take a cared-for Forester before a beaten Outback. --Ken
