I don't remember 1985 Chevy 1/2 ton pickupshaving rear disc brakes. It should be a drum brake in the rear and disc brakes in front.

If you have the "know how" you can.........to answer your question, yes, it can be done
Blot pattern to what part?
i think so a new chevy can surely fit one
im guessing u mean Chevy and gmc C=2wd K=4wd like a c1500 is a half ton 2 wheel drive truck k1500 is a 4 wheel drive half ton truck
Yes you can, But the 308 ring and pinion will have to be for the 1982 carrier that's in it now.
4 wheel drive suburbans have a 6 lug 5 1/2 inch bolt pattern. 1999 and older Chevy half tons (non 4x4) had the 6 lug 5inch bolt pattern but from 2000 on even those half tons went to the 6 lug 5.5 inch pattern. Remember all 4x4 (4 wheel drive) half tons always had 6 lug 5.5 inch pattern!
overhauling a cylinder is a job for a pro, and not recommended...replace it with a new one..
Hmm, what KIND of 1/2 ton, 6cyl 2 wheel drive is this? Sheesh, seriously. Is it a Toyota, Ford, Dodge, we need a hint here... Check the topic, Kkdunyes. It's a Chevy Truck or SUV
Assuming you have a 4 wheel drive truck, the hub and bearings are replaced as an assembly. Remove the wheel, the axle nut, the brake caliper and pads, the caliper bracket, the rotor, then loosen the three 15mm bolts that are behind the spindle, back them off about half way. Hit the bolts with a hammer to loosen the hub away from the knuckle, then remove the bolts and finish driving out the hub and bearing assembly. Reverse for assembly.
