The dealer can run the VIN number through their computer system to get the sales codes. That will show firm feel or normal suspension.
It is fairly difficult to change a water pump on a Chrysler Cirrus. First, you remove the crankshaft pulley, remove one engine mount, take off the timing belt, and finally gain access to the pump. You can then feel free to switch them out.

Your suspension is probably shot. Check your shock absorbers.
Front shocks. You may feel what I could describe as an "UP" bounce feel. If you replace the front shocks this will minimize that feel. However, the Frontier front suspension is quite "bouncy" good truck.
The Chrysler Sebring knock sensor is located in the engine valve or cylinder located at the back of the motor. This part is in this position next to the engine valve so the sensor can feel the vibration of the engine.

If you feel the price is right and you feel you are getting a good deal then that is all that matters.
Any vehicle. Start it cold. Feel the upper and lower hoses as the engine warms up. If the hoses warm up the same time it's stuck open. One should get hot and the other stay colder until the engine reaches normal temp. Around 195f. Then the thermostat opens and the other will get hot. If the engine starts to over heat and one hose is still fairly cold it is stuck closed.
